Carbon Capital Lab is hosting a virtual Carbon Investor Match Day to facilitate 1×1 introductions between investors and carbon project developers seeking funding. 

Meet directly with investors whose fund criteria align with your project structure, location, stage, and capital needs. You’ll receive a personalized schedule of 20-min 1×1 meetings with investors whose mandates align with your project profile. 

All meetings will take place on September 15th, 2026.

• Guaranteed 1×1 private meetings with carbon investors interested in projects like yours.
  
• No wasted time pitching to investors whose mandates don’t align with your project. We’ll prescreen your project to ensure meetings are high value for everyone.
  
• Prepare for substance – We’ll help set the stage for in-depth conversations. Once you’ve registered, you’ll have a chance to submit a pitch deck that investors can review ahead of your meetings. This will allow you to get straight into the most important topics in your live time together.
  
• Highly relevant feedback – We can’t guarantee that you’ll secure investment during the match event (though we hope your conversations are the start of something great!). But we do guarantee you’ll walk away with feedback and insight tailored to your project.
  
• Equal footing environment – this is not a shark tank-like event with public pitches. You’ll only participate in private meetings for focused deal flow conversations.

How to participate

1. Apply: Fill out the application form here. It’s free to apply. Details below.
2. Review and match: Carbon Capital Lab’s Founder, Margaret Morales, will review your application and compare it against criteria from participating investors.
3. Invitation and registration:  If we’re able to make 2 or more relevant investor matches, you’ll receive an official invitation to participate and pay the registration fee (see prices below).
4. Prepare: To set you up for substantive conversations, you’ll have a chance to submit a pitch deck for investors to review ahead of your conversations. Sharing info ahead of your live meetings will let you get right into a detailed conversation about your project. 
5. Connect: Get ready for September 15th! Ahead of the event, you’ll receive a personalized meeting schedule of curated 20-minute 1:1 meetings with investors actively looking for projects like yours. Meetings will take palce via zoom, or a similar virtual meeting platform.
